We were baked, attacked by bugs, stalked by gigantic Japanese crows, and dodged spiders on our hike. Nevertheless, we prevailed and defeated Kamakura’s third hiking trail.
My friend Lea and I arrived at Kita-Kamakura station.
Then we headed to Jochiji Shrine to begin the trail.
The hydrangea are drying up and almost gone in Kamakura.
The trail is not hard and maybe only two and a half hours tops.
My friend, Lea, got stung on the bum by something. However, she endured and we finished the trail and went for for ice cream in Hase. ‘Tis the season for hiking in Japan and buying Yukatas.
Yukatas are being sold everywhere I look now.
